SPIRIT-Update version 2017.10 – Changelog

2D drawing

• Mirrored symbols with dimensions and text explode incorrectly - this has been fixed
• polygon / rectangle function - when cancelling the function with the right mouse button, the function was completely aborted and spirit jumped into the main menu of the menu navigator
• Color replacement for images did not work anymore. This has been corrected
• Improved handling of polylines with holes
• Drawing elements with special line styles could encounter problems with rendering and editing - this has been corrected

3D drawing

• Volume calculation for sweep bodies has been corrected
• Snap on vertical cylinders has been improved

architecture system

• Symbols generated using "Generate 2D" have been rotated when Expolded in some cases - This has been corrected.
• Improved selection via the evaluation in Rooms
• Jamb components could duplicate in the drawing - this has been corrected
• Create new cost elements led to an error message - this has been corrected
• DIN 277 room stamp - category and room assignment also available as long text
• Move room with contour did not work anymore - this has been fixed

Annotate

• Images in the text block could cause an infinite loop - this has been corrected
• Adjusting the text angle a turned cursor works correctly again
• ▪ Via Annotate “arrow” the wrong menu was called up

Data Exchange

• DWG / DXF Export - Export paper-space will store self-references in paper space
• DWG / DXF export - Rotation angle of rotated references are now exported correctly
• FM / CAFM export - For room stamps. The layer structure is created again during export
• IFC data exchange - Various corrections for IFC import and IFC export

Interface

• Feedback in the info line for shortcuts added and unified
• Menu and icon bar for working levels are synchronized again

SimLab connection

• Added Export to SimLab 9

drawing area

• Rotated sheet - Snap at arc and circle endpoints stops working - this has been corrected
• Rotated sheet - Roomclip can be changed again with the sheet turned

2D edit

• Cursor behaviour is now consistent: Area selection is now rotated with the rotated cursor and matching the drawing direction. In all other input types, the area selection is always appropriate to the drawing.
• Object Snap – Snapping with middle mouse button did not work at the reference point of symbols - This has been corrected.
• Object Snap – Snapping in different views to cylinders with dynamic reference point turned on used a wrong reference point - This has been corrected.
• Object Snap - Intercept intersection with interrupted lines works correctly again.
• Text - when the sheet was turned - angles were not correctly matched when using the Create Similar tool - This has been corrected.
• Issues with selecting large Arcs have been resolved.

2D drawing

• When drawing dotted lines, no preview was displayed - This has been corrected.

3D modeling

• Contour tracking now works on very small Polyslabs.

architecture system

• Symbols generated using "Generate 2D" have been rotated when Expolded in some cases - This has been corrected.
• Wall connectors improvements have been made.

DWG / DXF - data Exchange

• DWG Import - In some cases, the stretch factor for symbols was incorrectly applied - This has been corrected.

drawing area

• UCS rotation angle with rotated cursor is now converted correctly.
• Turned Sheet - Snap on Dimensions works again.
• Turned Sheet - Extend lines whith a rotated “Work Plane” now works again.
• Turned Sheet - switch WKS / BKS can now be used as switching between the coordinate systems. The switch 'F8 XXXXX' will be used.
• Scrolling in the drawing area will not stop moving or copying.

SPIRIT-Update version 2017.08 – Changelog

2D edit

• Area selection has been adjusted for all cases so that the selection cursor is not rotated when the Cursor is rotated.
• Multiple selection of dimensions now display all the control points of the selected dimensions.

2D drawing

• When snapping, the last click point of the cursor is no longer used to calculate an intersection point. Only when an element is drawn Perpendicular is the point calculated.
• An error message when creating polylines over existing Elements has been fixed.

3D editing

• UCS Working planes - When copying entities in either the X or Y direction in a user defined parallel 3D view the entities in some cases where moved in the Z direction. This has been corrected
• When editing walls that have dimensions and the wall join was deleted the dimension was also deleted. This has been fixed.

DWG / DXF - data Exchange

• DWG import - Splines were imported without a Z coordinate. This has been corrected.
• DWG, in some cases imported polylines with fills, the fill was not 100% aligned with the polyline. This has been fixed.
